Intro - “No One is Old in Heaven,” Heaven is for Real; Todd Burpo, p.120
The Biblical Principle of
Sowing and Reaping for the Resurrection.
Context - I Cor 15:35 - With what kind of body do they come?”
Concept - Biblical Principle of Sowing and Reaping
I Corinthians 15:36-38 - What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. 37 And what you sow is not the body that is to be, but a bare kernel, perhaps of wheat or of some other grain. 38 But God gives it a body as he has chosen, and to each kind of seed its own body.
John 12:24 - Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
Parable - Sower and four types of soil (Luke 8:4-15)
Our Natural Body is a bare kernel, a seed.
I Corinthians 15:37 - And what you sow is not the body that is to be, but a bare kernel, perhaps of wheat or of some other grain.
Our Resurrection Body will be an Imperishable, Glorious, Powerful and Spiritual Body.
I Corinthians 15:42-44 - 42 So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable. 43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.

The Resurrection Body of Jesus that we read about in the Gospels is the First Fruits of the Imperishable, Glorious, Powerful, Spiritual, Resurrection Bodies we will be given!
When will this occur? At the Second Coming of Christ
I Corinthians 15:51-57 — 54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:
“Death is swallowed up in victory.”
